Bare Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced ACSR Conductor
Application:
Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) is used for overhead transmission and distribution lines. Also, as neutral messenger for low voltage multiplex cables. ACSR have higher resistance to corrosion. It can be used in coastal regions owing to its high degree of corrosion resistance and it is also used extensively within the Railway and Metro industries.
Applicable Standards:
Aluminum Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) is produced according to ASTM B-232, ASTM B 549, BS EN-50182, CSA C 61089, AS/NZS 3607, DIN 48204, IEC 61089, GB/T 1179.CSA C49.2-10, ASTM B711 or the standards agreed by both of the customers and us.
Advantages
ACSR provide light weight and high conductivity, and corrosion resistance. Aluminum has Great conductivity, which can effectively transmit electricity and reduce electricity energy loss. it can be used under harsh environmental conditions, such as high temperature, high humidity, strong alkali, acid and other environments.
Production Scope:
According to our produce machines, ACSR products could up to Max. cross-section 3500MCM/1750mm2, Max. Strand numbers are 127.
Construction:
ACSR: Aluminum wires, concentrically stranded around galvanized steel wire.
